Vintage Greece Souvenir Scarf

This vintage souvenir scarf from Greece features a colorful illustrated tour of the country’s best-known landmarks and islands. The design includes the Acropolis, Olympia, Corfu, Mykonos, Rhodes, Crete and other iconic Greek destinations, framed by a decorative border of traditional folk dancers, the Cretan Malia bee symbol, and other Hellenic motifs. 

A wonderful example of mid-century travel souvenir design and a sweet piece for wearing, framing, or displaying as wall décor. Signed/marked “GE KEI” in the lower-right corner; maker attribution has not been confirmed.
